Using chain ends

Hi - I'm Jan

I've been commissioned to make a piece on 40" barley corn style chain which I've never used before. Will I need chain ends and if so any suggestions as to which sort I should use?

Hi Jan,

Looking at the sample finished Barleycorn chains here: http://www.cooksongold.com/Finished-Chain/Sterling-Silver-Barleycorn-1.56mm--Unhallmarked-1845cm-prcode-VVH-156H they seem to be finished with simple jump rings and a bolt ring (or your choice of) clasp
