Now that Cookson are selling the Knew Concept titanium strips for making soldering clamps I thought I would post this update on how I shape my soldering clamps.
These are the clamps on the Cooksongold site;http://www.cooksongold.com/Jewellery-Tools/Knew-Concepts-Titanium-Soldering---Clamp-Set-prcode-997-3318

These are the standard shapes of clamps I use when soldering;

These are some different shaped titanium soldering clamps I made for specific jobs, the strips for these were milled down thinner to 0.75mm. thick before shaping;

Thanks for that , i found that really useful , I have recently purchased these and have used them a couple of times . I do solder discs together to make slight domes and hadn't thought of using them for that purpose , also for making bezels as sometimes I don't that really close fit all the way round. Thanks again
