Hi all
Newbie here hope you could advise me!
I want to add names to my pmc3 jewellery charms.
I've tried when the clay is wet with a scribing tool and the clay just bunched up and looks awful
I've tried when clay has dried overnight (pre firing) and I've found it really hard to get a smooth line with curved letters like s c etc. it just looks rubbish even after firing and polishing.
So I'm thinking of getting some stamps like the beadsmith or impressart stamps. My question is I think it looks easier to stamp using these in wet clay instead of fired clay (which is how the stamp manufacturers say you should do it). Any tips? My handwriting looks awful and just want to get nice names on there.
Thanks so much!!
