Balco Microstrip

Hi,

I am looking into buying the Balco microstrip to smooth and brighten castings from 3d prints.

Does any one have experience with this unit they would be willing to share ?

I'd been looking at vibratory tumblers with abrasives to do the job - I'd not looked at electrostripping as an option. The current supply is outside any of my bench PSUs, so rigging a test (KNO3, perhaps?) would be slow & inconclusive.

I wonder if anyone on the 3d CAD forum is using them?

I already have the otec mini wet and dry, good for broad surfaces but not detail - happy to sell very little use.

Would be good if Balco offered samples - I would send a small ring for electro polishing.

Might be worth adding 3d section to the Cookson forum - pleased to help where I can.
