View Full Version : Advice on repairing a channel setting

I'll attach some photos so you can see what I mean, one side is wafer thin and 3 diamonds came out in the sonic [emoji30] (one is placed back in)

I can't figure out the best way to build it up, whether to solder a panel on to the side to be pushed over or solder some strip along the front? Any advice appreciated!

It was only booked in for a rhodium!! I do claws all the time but haven't built up a channel before

Guessing most of the wear is on the outside edge, with less in the centre (although the lowest stone in the first pic looks like it'd need much more centrally too).
