Glue/soldering

I am trying to solder three mounts onto a ring, is there a glue I can use to hold them in place whilst I solder?

Yes Irene, you can use superglue

I often tack weld with the laser & then solder.

Or you might use soldering clamps made up from titanium or stainless steel strip, as advocated by James Miller.
