New printer results

The Form2 arrived on Tuesday, so I've spent a bit of time getting to grips with it and throwing print jobs at it.

Here's the first output - the butterfly clip supplied by Formlabs as a test model (100u layer height):

And then a fairly big print (25u layer height):

A collection of my Voronoi pattern rings, in different sizes, some with bezels and some without. These are in the castable resin, so I'll be able to send them off directly. Well, as soon as I've cut away the forest of supports on them and cleaned them up...

They look great, but doesn't a journey into industrial levels of production sound the death-knell for hand made jewellery?

Not what I'm doing; this isn't suited to anything large scale - getting the moulds cut for these has been a right pain, so it felt like a worthwhile way to try to solve the problem.
My primary interest in using this is for more complicated setting layout with calibrated stones - preferably one-offs.

Anyway, all the design work was done by hand, albeit using a non-traditional tool :D

It does raise that perennial issue though - where does it cease to be handmade?
Mass produced castings?
Small run castings?
One off waxes?
Hand fabricated at the bench?
All bullion drawn down by hand?
Ore self mined?
Every tool made from scratch?
