Hello! I was wondering if anyone has an alternative rhodium set up? I want to get this sorted soon. I have been told about a great set up using a rectifyer from maplins some kilner jars and bent spoons!

I've done a small amount of looking into the subject and I didn't get the impression that *quite* that much current was needed! What I've seen has suggested 10-80 A *per sq ft* (so around 0.3A for a ring), 2-5V DC and bath temperatures of 50C - oh, and Pt electrodes...

Have you seen this - http://www.ganoksin.com/borisat/nenam/ajm-rhodium-plating-technique.htm ?

I haven't! I will take a look, the guy who uses this says it works brilliantly and it's very cost effective, I'll see if I can get hold of him this week
