I have a ring mandrel for forming rings on but I want a stick to check their size.
There are so many different ones I don't know which to choose. I want one that's about £10-£20.
Any recommendations?

You can use any ring stick, or even make your own, provided it is for in house use.

However if you want it to read accurately in English sizes, so that you can communicate with other jewellers, then the benchmark is Wheatsheaf.

The stainless steel one is expensive, but the aluminium one with a wooden handle is a more moderate price. It is fine if you dont use it to hammer on. I have had mine for more than twenty years and it is hardly marked, except where I have added half size marks with a disk.
