Who do you recommend to use for business insurance? I had basic liability insurance but want to do things properly and I really have no idea! I have a safe, my workshop is at home, don't know if that makes any difference! Thanks in advance [emoji5]

Check out this company, they are popular in the trade for jeweller's insurance;http://www.thmarch.co.uk/?gclid=CMmbx6SqwsoCFcSVGwodoLEDXA

If you have AN membership then you get free ppl and you can take out a bespoke workshop insurance with Hencilla Canworth. You can also get a similar package if you take membership with GOJD. I have both meme ships but I took my insurance out with AN before the latter was on offer and I think I'd lose my ncb if I started again.

Has anyone on here ever had to claim on their jewelry maker's insurance policy, either through T H March or someone else?
I've not been impressed with dealings I've had with insurance companies recently, if car and household insurance are anything to go by. It isn't just policy holders who engage in insurance fraud; insurers do it as well, only they're generally more adroit at being devious.
