because the cookies are more than 3 inches long, and almost 3 inches high! actually, I need to make the cookies smaller, as well.

oh, they're delicious, trust me! two vanilla (or chocolate) butter cakes, with raspberry jam in the middle, wrapped in a thin layer of marzipan, and dusted with cocoa. add some almond slivers for eyes... a lovely bit of edible tromp l'oeil.

I like making things that look like other things. cookies that look like watermelon slices, cakes that look like cabbage.. I might have to specialize. :D
