View Full Version : Orca Torch connecers

Hi

I recently bought an Orca Torch and I would like to use it with a disposable propane tank.

Does anyone know where I could buy one of these adapters?

I have attached 2 photos of the top of the bottle of gas and the connector that is on the hose.

Have tried in homebase and a few places, to see if they had regulators etc

Thanks for any help offered.

I use my orca with MAPP cannisters, and I got the adapter from Sutton Tools. Works perfectly. It is a screw fitting, however, which I'm not sure your disposable bottle is (can't tell from the picture). I opted for MAPP over regular propane as it burns a little hotter and is much cleaner.

Hi George,

Thanks for your reply. The propane in the picture is from Rothenberger. I am not sure either. I will have a look at Sutton Tools for the connector and see if I can order some MAPP gas too. Have never seen it here in Dublin but will have a look online. Many thanks for the info : -)
