I'm finally getting around to hanging my flexshaft that I bought some time ago.

Should I oil/grease/lubricate it before I use it? It's fresh out of the box. Can I just go ahead and start using it?

thanks!

Your foredom should work straight from the box :)

I believe the grill can be used without additional oil as well http://www.georgeforeman.co.uk/

so it being Thanksgiving and all here in Canada, the foreman/dom flexshaft can double as a rotisserie attachement when used at its slowest speed....

seriously though, I hung it up, tried it out and its going to be one of my most used pieces of equipment. in AND out of the kitchen.

(that's a joke. because my workspace is IN a corner of my kitchen. very handy.. right next to the fridge)

Always nice to have a lean, mean drilling machine. Happy thanksgiving.

You'll love the foredom and will soon begin to wonder how you lived without it!

Works fine straight out of the box, then its dead easy to simply follow the designated servicing routine.

Cheers,

Nick
