Hi everyone,
I've been lurking and reading for a little while, but I thought it was time that I stopped being shy, introduced myself and tried to join in...
I'm in Derby and am pretty much teaching myself how to make jewellery, so far I'm really enjoying piercing and polishing (shiny metal makes me smile...is that quite sad? :-D ) and I'm hopefully getting my act together to try stone setting and enameling soon. At the moment I work in copper and brass as I can't really afford much silver, but I'm hoping to change that soon as I much prefer silver, its just so much nicer to work with.
Apologies in advance for all the questions I'm bound to ask while teaching myself!
