Bracelet Size

Hi there,

This may be a very stupid question, but if offering bracelets for example, how do people know how big to make them, or is it a case of asking the customer to specify the size required? I would assume this but have seen people offering jewellery before and not asking this question (unless done in private) and a one size fits all is unlikely to work for one of my ideas.

There are standard sizes but I only make to order so I get the customer to measure their wrist first.

I think we will shortly have a dicussion about bangles, cuffs and bracelets.

If you have bracelets in mind the average length I have used is 19cm. Those members making them for sale will no doubt have one smaller and one larger than that.

Thats interesting Dennis as thats the average length I make too ( all mine are made to measure but thats the most common size).
The largest Ive made for a woman is 21cm, the smallest is 18cm.
Then there are mens and children's sizes of course.
Also need to consider what type of bracelet and how it will sit.
