'Introduction to PMC Silver' Beginners Class - Dates & Info 2015
March: Sunday 8th, 22nd, 29th
April: Sunday 19th, 26th
May: Sunday 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
June: Sunday 14th, 21st, 28th
July: Sunday 12th, 26th
Wondering where to start with metal clay?
This beginners class is the ultimate intro to an exciting new hobby or venture - no experience of clay, craft or jewellery making needed!
You’ll learn:
Basic clay skills – rolling, cutting, texturing, gemstone setting
Sanding and refining for a super smooth finish
Torch Firing
Burnishing, polishing and finishing
Using oxidising solution to create depth and character or ‘antiquing’
A 5 hour day costs £85 and includes PMC Silver clay, use of tools and firing equipment and a complete set of notes on the day to get you off the starting blocks.
