Hi all

I've recently decided to use some of my free time to try my hand at creating jewellery, my interest started in gold panning and Lapidary (Lapidary is my main interest), so i thought why not go the whole hog and create pieces from sourced materials!

i wont be buying any machines till i have got some basic learning under my belt (plus i have twins due in 6 weeks!)

So i hope to see you all in and around the forums and getting to know everyone.

Hi Gary, welcome.
Twins due in 6 weeks, we may not hear from you again for some time after that :)
You may have a lot to offer lapidary wise as someone always has a question about some stone they have found.

Hi Gary! Welcome. I am a beginner too, in Dorset. After a 10 year break from art I have come to silver and am loving it! This forum is so helpful. Good luck with your twins!

Hello Gary, I have just posted about stone identification book, perhaps you can help me decide which to choose. By the way welcome, you will find a lot of very clever people on here, you can learn loads. Think yourself lucky with the babies, my neice decided to have another baby to make a round number of 4 and had twins, so at one period in the growing up process had five children under five years old.
