Hi all
I was just watching a video posted in one of the threads showing how to flush set and he used a max graver to burnish producing a brilliant effortless finish.
All excited I went and looked it up only to find it costs a fortune :(
Im currently just using a hand held curved burnisher but having trouble not leaving scratches on the flush settings although no problem on bezel set.
Is it my technique or is there an easier tool to use?
Many thanks :)

Make one from an old burr or beading tool, it won't cost a penny.

Do you use a motor to do it with, or by hand. Sorry to be so ignorant, but I struggle to do an unsratched surface both on flush and bezels.

Power tools I only use for cutting lines, drilling holes & the occasional hammering, but otherwise I do things by hand.

Following Chris's advice, here is a picture of mine. Break off head of burr, round and polish the tip and mount in a handle for burnishing. Dennis

Haha, I was just about to post a picture of one of mine, but it's identical to the one Dennis just posted :)

I already made one of those, thought it was a magic tool to make my settings better. Oh well, practice makes perfect eventually I suppose.
