I'm heading off buying in Hong Kong at the beginning of next month so now is the time to be having a think and let me know if you want some special pearls (or bulk pearls). Hong Kong is the best place in the world for sourcing any sort of pearl (no matter that some websites claim to buy eg freshwaters direct from the farm. They don't)
Judging by the beautiful gold work and south sea pearls which looked like ear wax necklace I saw in a display at Goldsmith's Hall a couple of months ago some peeps are not buying pearls wisely. I'm not obsessive about pearls you understand but I was very tempted to smash the glass case and replace the pearls.
