Hello from a fellow newbie here, whereabouts in the Midlands are you from? I moved from the Midlands to the South West 18 months ago :)

'lo Viz (sorry more pun, intended)
Hi all and thanks for a warm welcome. I'm in Leicester and am a caster, well returning to it after a very long break. Any of you guys cast ?

easily done, I have had to cope with a few in my time.
high visability - and low visability - (high) hi viz / (hello) 'lo viz, and I think there was a grown ups comic involved in there too
welcome to the Forums - casting, how some of us wish we had that in our repertoire, well I know I do.

lol me too! Hello and welcome, Viz :) There are a few people on here who cast - it's great to have you on board :)
Thanks. I thought as much lol ! Silly season suits me great. Done a lot of centrifugal casting now just trying out vacuum casting ( with the small unit I have ) as I'm getting into it again. Have to say I have missed the bench !

Welcome Viz, not something in my repertoire either, but always read the posts about casting with interest (and fear)!!
Thanks Tabby. I have to say a great community and everyone's very welcoming. :ta:
You have some great pieces of jewellery on your website tabby and looking at some of the other members website there is some real talent here !
Hi Lucie I just burn my fingers polishing !!

Welcome viz! Sounds interesting your casting, do you work for a casting company or do it all yourself?
Hi Jon, thanks. I do casting for myself. Been away from it for a while and just getting back into it. At the moment I'm getting fractures on the investment when doing the burning out process ??? Can't work out what I'm doing wrong ??? Anyone have any ideas why ???
