Welcome Adam, I have also made a few watch cases in my time, when were you in Clerkenwell?

Hi Adam, you shouldn't let everyone see your machinery, they will all want one!q

I was there from 1985 until about 1998 in Clerkenwell Workshops for most of that time, before that on Clerkenwell Green and Great Sutton Street.

I think I'm banned from buying more tools for the forseeable future... Spent my year's allowance already!

Wallace, shouldn't you be in the silversmithing studio?

Yes, I've been caught by the wife, that's why I'm selling some of them.

Repeat after me - "What, this old thing? Had it for years!" :D

(doesn't work if the original packaging is still there)

Meh, problem with dyslexia enhanced it with dyscalculea, meant getting here two hours early! Off in five mins .. So excited!

Oh not the same period as me, I left the area in 1985 after working there for 9 years,I was in Roseberry Avenue till 1981 then in Farringdon Road till 85, when I worked at McCabe McCarty. A lot of my mates worked in the newly converted Clerkenwell workshops in those early days.

I say this to the boy every time he spots a new piece of equipment or photograph light. Happily he has a dreadful memory and is terribly unobservant so it usually works :)

Hi there, fantastic seamless watch repairs and that platinum ring, just wow! (and I'm blinkering out the tool porn, I want but I can't have!)
