Can't view people's public profiles

Can't view people's public profiles - is this a forum bug or some bit of functionality you've missed out?

When i click on a members name and then select 'view public profile' nothing happens.

I'm using Firefox on a PC if that's any use.

I think it's to do with number of posts, similar to preventing us from posting links in messages till we have made 15 posts, come to think of it, I have done that now so I can see if thats the limit!

Edited to add, nope, profile links still not working!

Also - I've had a friends request and even though I go into my profile and l accept the friend request and click save - nothing happens.

In the top right hand corner under your username there's a dropdown menu that appears if you click on 'Your Notifications' and nothing happens when I click on the friend request there either.

You have to tick the check box in the friends avatar for it to work - so I've figured that out, but the menu on the top right still doesn't work

The problem has been fixed. I've removed the offending bit of code that stopped those menus working.

Hi Alexandra,

The maximum size for an avatar is 80x80. Unfortunately the forum doesn't resize avatars automatically, so you'll need to resize your pic to 80x80 or less and then upload it.

hopefully it's just a kink (the forums running pretty smoothly for such a new forum ;))

as with all new things, there are always minor bugs to iron out!
