Hi, I wondered if anyone out there had purchased a bolt together hydraulic press from Kevin Potter in the US? It looks a real workhorse compared to the Bonny Dune one. Kevin recommends a short, stubby hydraulic jack with a gauge, any ideas where I could get a 20 ton jack with a gauge here in the UK? Thanks

I don't know Debby but the Bonny Doon comes with the jack and it's certainly not a small piece of equipment, in fact it's massive.

The main difference between the two is the BD is made from hollow section, Kevin's from sheet. Both are *very* strong.

As for jacks, I don't know of a jack with a gauge fitted; you could possibly get a light engineering company to mod a jack to incorporate one - or look on EBay for an Enerpac hand-pumped power pack and a jack that works with it, they're designed to take a gauge.

Thanks, didn't mean to put down the Bonny Doon press, the Potter one seems to meet my needs better, especially the price!
