Afternoon Guys,
i'm looking to buy really small Rivets 1.5mm-3mm head x 4-5mm Length (in Brass & Aluminium)......similar size to these: http://www.alchemyandice.com/hollow-rivet-1-16x5-32-brass-apx-100.html (£3.99 for 100, which is a great price).
But they are Eyelets ones,...whereas i want regular solid head ones.

I've seen these on Palmermetals http://www.palmermetals.co.uk/shop/1-16-inch-diameter-5-32-inch-long-aluminium-rivet-50-pcs.html, but they are charging £4.50 for 50 - so if you can find cheaper, please let me know!
Thanks!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brass-Rivets-1-16-x1-4-50-Off-For-Model-Making-/111171036516 - proper solid head rivets?

Check out EKP Supplies, they sell most materials for model makers, they sell standard round head rivets in steel copper or brass, see; https://ekpsupplies.com/nuts-washers-pins-and-rivets/rivets/cat_87.html

For something that tiny, why not just make them from wire?

Too fiddly to be honest.
I'm far too clumsy to be making such tiny things. :D

That statement leaves me puzzled because fiddly is what jewellers do. Setting small rivets is even more fiddly than making them, because the holes have to be just right and the rivet has to be retentive and finished flush or domed.

In fact it is far easier to set tubular rivets using a scriber and some light taps to finish, but you have to cut them yourself from tubing.

Much of the clumsiness people complain of is due to inadequate eyesight and is overcome by getting new glasses and/or using magnification such as a headband magnifyer. A useful one of those is less than £20 online and will banish the fear of fiddly.
