Hello all. I joined this site last night and posted a quick hello. I have just posted a few piccies of work I have recently completed or am currently working on like the diamond necklace. If there are no pictures to see then I am sorry in advance. It is my first attempt after all. Well here goes......... fingers crossed.

Hi Peter and thank you. I am glad the picture upload worked. The individual settings are cast from a master pattern in whatever combination of sizes are required to meet a set carat weight. They are then cleaned up and assembled by hand, set and polished. The master pattern of each size is handmade but due to the massive amount of labour involved it is much more economical to cast multiple items from one master.

I thought they'd probably need to be all D IF and good sizes to make it worthwhile hand fabricating each setting :)
