Hello all, just getting into silversmithing & goldsmithing and have to say Im finding it all very exciting!

Bought a load of new tools etc the other day, spent a small fortune, and am raring to go. This forum looks like a fantastic resource and Im hoping to contribute something useful to it in the near future.

Many thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick, don't just sit there gloating over your tools. Start making and only buy what you desperately need, or you will end up with drawers of useless junk. Welcome to the forum. ;-)

Hi Nick, Welcome!

This forum may be a better place to ask your question about the stone bought in Saudi since many people here are knowledgeable about stones.

Hi Nick, tool buying is an expensive contagious disease with no cure..on the bright side, some will last a lifetime..drills & burrs are another matter.
