Hi Folks,
My name is Ryan I have been a jeweller for 13 years, but I havent been working due to the workshop I was working in for 10 years closing down due to the financial climate. After becoming a dad and bringing up my son for the last couple of years I find myself at a crossroads with regards to my career. And I am hoping that joining this forum it will give me the push that I need to get back behind the bench and do what I love.

Hello and welcome!
I've found the members on here so incredibly helpful and generous. I have no formal training so it really is great to get help and advice from fellow aspiring jewellers and talented professionals alike.

Hi Ryan and welcome from me. It is a hard climate to be working in now but you can still make a reasonable living at it, though you'll probably never be rich.
