Ok, so I did a trial run of a piece I was going to make in silver, but the customer now wants the item in copper as well. My problem is, where can I get copper solder, if such a thing is available, and if not, how do I tackle the problem of visible joints.

Hi Tiggerkins, we discussed this earlier in the year, when I posted this thread: http://www.cooksongold.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4068&highlight=Copper+solder. Happy New Year, Dennis.

Thanks Dennis, I did a search but couldn't find anything.

I have some 'copper' solder (in wire form) from the US, which does a reasonable job, but does still end up a little grey, albeit a lot less obvious than silver. I then usually just do the blue pickle trick to cover any bits that I haven't managed to clean up well enough.
