Hello everyone, just joined the forum. Stated as a mineral collector but I seem to be getting drawn into jewellery and semi-precious stones these days. Just joined up to try and absorb some of the abundant knowledge that seems to be floating around in here :D

Hi Alex,

Welcome to the forum :) I also have a thing for collecting minerals and gemstones, and have been making jewellery for years now but only recently got into more complex things such as soldering etc. I've not been a member on here for that long but have already learnt a hell of a lot from all the nice folks on here, I'm sure you'll find it just as helpful and informative.
