Does anybody know of anyone who does this in the UK? We currently send to Belgium to have Pavé diamond wedding rings set but turnaround time is about a month!!

Cheers

I'm really disappointed that no one has come back to you on this, Betta. It possibly means that like me, no one here sends work out to be set.
That said, I am sure that there are plenty of setters who would do a good job for you in the UK.

I am meeting friends tomorrow and hope to have a name or two for you in the evening. Regards, Dennis.

The man who taught me pave setting at Sir John Cass whose name is Tony Tigg works as a full time setter. His work is amazing. Unfortunately though I don't have his contact details. You could try contacting him through the college.

In the mean time I looked at Goldsmith's Company, Technical Portal and found just one: http://www.thegoldsmiths.co.uk/technology-training/technical-portal/supplier-listing/suppliers-a-z/aw-setters/diamond-micro-setters/

Thanks for all your help Dennis. That is the only company i could find too (thanks to google!) i don't think they exist anymore as the phone number takes me to a different company!

Check out The Institute of Professional Goldsmiths website, and do a search for setters, they list 6 setters, see; http://www.ipgoldsmiths.com/

Try Kim Webster if you want high quality setting.

As you have had quite a lot of leads, you might well be suited, but I have also had a personal recommendation here: http://www.laserjewellery.co.uk/services.html#all , a company which does many services. Dennis.
