Hello,
I'm down in Bristol. Have done bits and pieces of jewellery making in the past - skills picked up from my mum, but now wanting to get back into it more seriously.
Searching for a course to improve my skills at the moment.

Hello s0237276 - perhaps you're a friend of Agent 44 ;)

I'm down in Devon and Caroleallen is in Cornwall. We're not well-served with courses down here other than the Mid Cornwall place, which is phenomenally expensive :'( Mind you I've seen some interesting looking courses in Bristol - depends on what you want to learn first I suppose.

Welcome aboard anyway :~::~:

Hi s0.:~: Sorry to have shortened your name but my memory isn't that good and when you reply to a thread it doesn't show you the original comment... I think you might have to give us something that's easier to remember!!

I hope you really enjoy this forum...so many different people with so much knowledge of so many things!! ...I've found you can learn so much by reading through all the posts!!

I'm not in Bristol - I'm 2 hours away in North Devon. Bristol for me means hospital (Frenchay). There's loads of stuff going on there tho - envy you that bit of it

Oh no, didn't think you were in Bristol, if that's what you mean, but there is alse Bob Flemming,and also possibly one or two others now.

Frenchay, lovely! Did my work experience there when I was 15!

What's going on in Bristol, I seem to be missing it all! Not aware of any courses, and it's not for the want of trying to find them!

No, 44, I realised after I'd posted the message that you were asking s-whatever that number is!

I've seen loads of ads for stuff going on in Bristol but can I lay my hands on them now? No, course I can't! Will sort them out tho - there might be something you don't know about.
