Real Birch Leaf Pendant Necklace - Copper, Beads and Wire

Hi Folks,
Not been posting on here for a while. I've had my head down, busy making things, redoing the website and a whole host of other things. Good to get back on here again. Thought I would show a little of what I have been up to:

I took a birch leaf and carefully plated it with copper so it didn't loose any detail but is as strong as any solid pendant.

I purposefully set the finding at a slight angle to give the necklace a more dynamic feel.

My plating is coming on really nicely after months of various problems. Sometimes I felt like giving up as it was too difficult but when a piece is good, its outstanding, really satisfying.

My pics are getting better. They are more cleaner and crisper but I think the plain backgrounds don't do the jewellery justice so more work and development there.

That's a lovely bit of plating! and the colours of the beads go well with it.
