Change of email

Because of spamming (and horrendous links) being sent from my email account I took the decision to delete it. How do I change my email here please?

If you go to Settings (top right), then under My Settings (bottom left sidebar) there is the option to change email address (My Account->Edit Email & Password). However... I've a suspicion that this will want to send your old email address a confirmation link as well; so if you have completely deleted it already, it won't get there (if that is the case, let me know by PM, please).
