Snake chain type help required please

I've recently seen some jewellers selling their pendants on a snake chain that isn't totally slinky (if that makes sense?). When worn around the neck the chain forms a solid choker/wire and hangs like a circle rather than a V shape.

If anyone knows what the name of this style of chain is, I would be very grateful if you could let me know.

I like Curteis and W J Sutton for finished chain. The latter requires a larger order though (both are trade sites).
