Bolt rings in pickle?

Hello All, Can anyone reassure me that it's OK to put a silver bolt ring into pickle? I've soldered a jumpring closed to attach it but now I'm not sure if the bolt ring will have a steel spring inside? Thanks!

I would just clean the flux and staining off with the pendant drill... I do sometimes risk items with steel pins in the pickle but the mild acid will attack the steel and such a fine spring might be damaged.
