Is it the one consisting of a steel block and cone shaped punches?

Er, I suspect that this is not that sort of jig; the wire collet formers have either a circles of holes or cones with grooves into which wires are laid. One forms a small circle and solders this to the top of the cone before trimming the wires down.

There is a manual tutorial on Hans' brilliant website (http://www.meevis.com/jewelery-making-class-making-six-claw-collet.htm) but I don't know that I've seen a tutorial for the jig anywhere... except there was a photo series on Lars some time ago....

The reason for the confusion is that it is actually called a Claw Making Set or Jig.
There's tons of information here Mary, including from this forum a year ago. I reckon you could be up all night reading this. http://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&expIds=25657&xhr=t&q=claw+making+jig&cp=15&pf=p&sclient=psy&aq=f&aqi=&a Happy New Year Dennis.
