can anyone suggest a good alternative to silver? i'm making a medium sized 3D brooch and as i've already used quite a lot of material i would like something else for the base. i also like the idea of doing something in brass or copper and also perspex. what is the best material for me to use that looks silver-y or gold-y and is solderable? can anyone recommend a website where i can get this?

many thanks in advance.

I'd probably go for gilding metal. I get most of my base metal sheet from Hills
