Hi, this may sound silly and simple but I have just started making Jewellery on my own and I want to make a charm on a ball chain. I have purchased the chain and had to buy end caps instead of the ball chain clasp. How do I fix the ball chain to the end caps? thanks

Hello carmel, I assume the ball chain fits into the end cap, if so, you could very carefully solder it, this kind of thing is where solder paste is very useful.

This is actually quite a tricky one, as the chain is liable to melt (the balls are very thin walled). If you're not used to doing this, you might find it easier to either source some ball chain connectors, or use a crimp end. This is one of the few chains I tend to buy ready made.

Thanks, I know Im a bit scared. I shall have a look for a crimp end. Cant wait until Im more experienced.
