Hi

What do you use to do an elasticated bracelet?

I made a pearl (6mm) bracelet using elasticity .020in / 0.5mm but didn't find it strong enough and it breaks. I also bought 0.8mm but i can only thread it once because it is too thick to go back.

Also, what thread do you use to do a normal bracelet?

Many thanks!

I've only ever made a couple of these and use elaasticity 0.5mm and have found it to be OK, but it is quite a flimsy one so only to be used for occasional wear I think.

I use gossamer floss for anything stretchy. It's super strong and latex free (so a good selling point for those with allergies). It's also really thin and easy to thread through a second time. Jilly beads link (http://www.jillybeads.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_Wires_and_Cords.html)
I found that elasticity does snap fairly easily, and is no good for anything remotely weighty.
