Hey Guys
Im new to the site but have used Cooksongold previously to buy Silver wire and 925 findings for making Gemstone jewellery.
My Jewellery making has stopped and started for a few years and gone on many diversions. Mainly because Ive had problems with Carpel tunnel syndrome in both wrists. Ive recently had surgery to releave the problem on my right wrist. Next year will be my left hand!
I really want to get back to it when things have healed properly! A local college runs a Jewllery making course Ive missed it so many times. Im determined to get on it in March, as my technique lets me down. Ive said for years 'I want to make my own rings!!!' So i am going to do it! :)
I work full time in a hospital lab testing blood. I'd love to go down the same route as my husband who has just gone part time from his 'Proper job' in the same hospital, only he worked in the Mortuary, he started his own business barleybottom.com approx 3 years ago. He has built it up enough now that its moved out of our garage to a warehouse! He sells Hops, grain and bar supplies to name but a few. I want to do a similar thing but selling Jewellery!!!!:)
