Hiya,

I would like to make 4mm and 8mm rings using 16g (1.29mm) sterling silver wire to make a bracelet.

I've found this link for 1.3mm soft wire Sterling Silver Round Wire 1.30mm Diameter - Cooksongold.com (http://www.cooksongold.com/Wire/Sterling-Silver-Round-Wire-1.30mm-Diameter-prcode-HSA-130) will this be suitable for rings to make a bracelet? They will be fairly large rings (8mm) so will the soft wire be too 'flexible'?

Thanks in advance!

Karen

That's just what you want Karen. If you're not soldering the rings, you may want to work harden the larger ones (I presume you're talking id here) a little before you cut them though. Generally, just the process of coiling the wire will harden it enough, but you can twist it a little first if you want it a bit harder still.

Thanks George I will place my order. I'm making the hodo bracelet from Blue Bhuddha. I made one in copper and I love it!
