I'm after some square Rainbow Moonstones approx 4mm - 6mm either cabs or faceted. I'm having trouble finding some and wondered if anyone knows of a good supplier? I've tried Magpie and Marquise etc but no luck.

Hen's teeth! Do they really exist? I have haunted gem fairs including Inhorgenta in Munich, which is huge, and only ever seen round oval and navette. D.

I have a square one but it is about 20mm square (and you can't have it :-p). It came from Joias Gems and I got it at IJL, but it doesn't look like they sell online (unless it is under a different name).

Der Mila,
This question has been haunting me for days, so I finally phoned around my usual suppliers. I hope that I am not too late.
A E Ward & son, 020 7253 4036 have 6mm faceted.
Marcus McCallum7405 2169 has 5mm square cabochons.
Marcia Lanyon 020 7602 2446 has 8mm square faceted.
Please double check they are what you want before you buy, as not all moonstones have a strong colour. Kind regards Dennis

Hi Dennis

Thank you very much for those, you're not too late I haven't been on here for a couple of days- I had found A E Ward had some faceted ones but will give Marcus McCallum a ring as some cabs would be wonderful too. Much appreciated :)
