I'm spending the week in the jewellery school right opposite Cooksons, how fab is that! Jewellery tool shops on every street corner!! :dance: Today I made a fab bangle with the hydraulic press. Tomorrow we learn to use Argentium silver - that is if those lovely people at Cooksons have got it ready for us.

That sounds amazing! I'm going to have to wander round the jewellery quarter if I ever go to Birmingham.

Yeah its on hatton garden up near where it crosses st cross street (near h s walsh)

It's the largest single area in Europe for jewellery manufacture - I think around 40% of the worlds jewellery is manufactured here (but don't quote me on that figure just in case I'm wrong:^o
