wheely

Evenin' all! Well, it's evening here anyways. I'm from sunny Kent in the good old UK, sayin that it's been darn cold today. My name's not actually wheely (surprise surprise) but it's my wheelchairs name. Original eh?!
I've been having a peek at a few albums on flickr and on here and I feel so so so and a hundred so's more outdone - inferiority complex ahoy! There's some gorgeous stuff oh here, and I can feel a little tool envy trying to creep in!
I've been working with sterling silver for about 3 years now I guess and PMC for just over 6 months. I tend to experiment a lot, most of the time things are OK but I've had my fair share of disasters! It's a hobby I love, but I'm far from great. Broke is more a word I'd use. Recently though I got talked into making myself a brass letter opener. Oh how I swore.
Anyway enough of my ramblings. If I shut up long enough I might pick up some tips and tricks - particularly about soldering. I've only just recently started doing my own soldering, I have a huge fear of naked flame so a hand torch is my limit right now. Still, I conquered my fear of lifts and spiders...
