Thanks for the nice comments, cab is about 1/5" or a bit more by about 1" really beautiful and I'm lucky to have such a generous friend.

My larger cabs have come from www.designercabochons.co.uk (http://www.designercabochons.co.uk/) they often go to some of the larger Bead Shows too, there is a list on the website.

There's a good Rock'n'Gem show at Kempton Park this coming weekend where there are often bargains but no GGs. Dennis.

I went to the Chepstow one at the end of January and spent too much!! I did get some nice amber, a couple of largish Ocean Jasper cabs and a small 1cm2 square cab of dark golden brown pietersite which I had not seen before. I got the last 3 from Helen Carver Lapidary. They don't have a website but from their leaflet will also be at Kempton this weekend, Cheltenham Racecourse 27/28 Mar, Newark Showground 24/25 Apr and Kempton again 5/6 June. Are any of those near you Ley?
