Good Evening :)

I am visiting family in the UK for quite a while and would like to take a jewelry workshop whilst here. I have nothing specific in mind, but am looking for somthing within about an hours drive max of sheffield (birmingham would work). I'd probably be looking for somthing intermediate to advanced level, and it has to be full days really and not a few hours a week.

Any suggestions? i didn't realise how much I would miss my bench back home :) I need tool contact.

Thank you!
Lucy

Wow that was quick!

I have no idea right now about where I'll be when unfortunately, I am over in the UK to help take care of my sick dad, so see myself splitting the next year between Sheffield and New York :( But I'm going to try and squish in a few courses where i can.

Thank you!

Well if you don't mind opening up a wider area then there are quite a few jewellery schools on this thread (http://www.cooksongold.com/forum/introduce-yourself-our-jewellery-community/1609-hi-2.html)
Loads of choice there :)

Thanks, Lisa.

I had "forgotten" about them - it's about 10 minutes away from me and I feel a day course or two coming on.

Thank you very much for the link.

Looks good - i think i may book for the enamelling workshop and also the chasing and repousse if I am in the UK then!

Is it the same lady that teaches everything?

I took the basic jewellery making course a couple of years ago Jules.

Teresa doesn't teach all the courses, but if you check the course outline, there is a small biog on the tutor taking the course.
