I'm planning to play a little more with Art Clay over the next couple of months and I'm looking for a couple of books to help me progress with techniques and ideas.

Does anyone have any that they would recommend?

Thanks for the suggested book Annie, I'll have a look out for that.

I'd already found the Metal Clay Academy and had a good look around - there is some great information on there.

Kym, sadly I gave away the books I had. Sorry. There is one book, however, that I kept 'just in case' and that's the making beads with metal clay book that, Nic I think it was, mentioned

Hi Kym, its quite good as it gives you the different firing options, especially if you don't have a kiln! I have also got the Precious Metal Clay Techniques by Tim McCreight, which I got for a bargain from Borders when it closed down. If you want to have a look at that one before you buy am happy to post it to you so you can see if its what you want??

Don't forget the libraries too, you can often pay a nominal fee and your local library will bring books in from other libraries...
you can get quite a lot of good craft books that way :Y:
