Minimum stock for craft fayre??

Hey everyone what are your thoughts on the minimum amount of stock for very first craft fair, just 3 hours long, it's gonna be a 1st for vickie and i as we are doing a couple of full day ones in the summer and hope to use this one as a trial run for everything we may need, but i was just wondering how much stock to have on hand????

How long is a piece of string?! Depends on the price of your items, the sort of customers who you think will attend (ie loads of money or skint!), the standard of the other stalls (ie all hand made or a mixture of hand made and bought in) etc etc etc.

I'm trying to do only hand made shows this year if I can, which tend to be more expensive but they attract more people with money. I take hundreds of pieces as I have a big display but it's not really necessary.

I too am puzzling over how much stock is enough. I don't want my table to appear too empty as this puts people off. On the other hand I can I'll afford to tie up all my money carrying lots of spare stock.
