you use a plastic model. tree the bits up then use investment cast and burn the plastic out at 1000 degrees over night and cast it in the morning. media blast the bits you want oxidise the areas you need put bits together.

the back wheels still has its spring so it can move and the front wheels can still turn.

:O dont do it use it to make the next one better. i have various things around my board off reminders and first attempts!

and no its not for an order we made it because we thought it would be fun! although maybe a ebay auction or motorbike magazine ad might be taken into account.

a trade customer saw it and he wants a spitfire aeroplane maybe thats the next one!

my hubby has just seen that and wants me to ask how much as it'd make an ideal birthday present for him........

That looks fantastic! You make it sound easy to make but I bet it's not and it took hours upon hours of refining the method!

we have had offers and at the moment it look like it is going up on ebay. I think my boss is wanting something in the region of £400-500. It also comes with a solid wood plinth we have just had made aswell to finish it off.

also have a bigger size harley davidson in the making think its called a soft tail or summit.

like most things it starts as an idea mix that with knowledge and you have a method and then away you go!
