Hello all,
Does anyone know where I can buy some doming resin in the UK (as opposed to casting resin)?

I'm making a silver charm bracelet and I want to include a couple of small photos and I think a blob of domed resin on top will give them protection and make them look smart.

I found lots of enamels, and casting stuff on the web, but not much else (in the UK anyways!)

thanks very much :)

Scooch.

google gives me lots of options (enter "doming resin" with the quotes for better results)

including

XaYa San Cold Enamel Doming Resin (http://www.jewellerycraftsupplies.co.uk/cart.php?target=product&product_id=627)

which might be what you're after?

Otherwise, you could try something like the judikins UV fix resin, which is designed for this type of application.

Chemset ES8102 (goes with Chemset ES8203 hardner) is a doming resin.
I know cooksons deal with Chemset so you could send a product request or CJResins also sell it

Woohoo. I love this forum, its the quickest way to find out *anything*!

Thanks to you both.

My google search turned up the XaYa San Cold Enamel Doming Resin
one, but I was a bit unsure as I've not hear of the company doing the selling, and I wanted something a bit more 'wholesale' than 'retail' size.

However, I'll check 'em both out. Thanks again :xmaslaugh:
